Interested?

This position performs all operators’ qualifications (OQ) tasks and is able to work with limited supervision. This job can perform all duties from the receipt point, through to the breakout facilities and operate the breakout facilities as well as perform all duties required to deliver crude oil to downstream purchasers and pipelines. Handle pipeline, receipt points, go out in field on various sites.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintains and operates breakout facilities and truck unloading terminals.
  • Works with schedulers to ensure crude oil deliveries.
  • Interacts and communicates with downstream pipes to ensure crude oil deliveries.
  • Provides operators qualifications and other training as required to B level Operators.
  • Operates and maintains lease pumps.
  • Ensures personal safety and follow safe operating procedures for pipelines.
  • Ensures the efficient functioning and operational integrity of all pipelines.
  • Maintains general upkeep, routine and regularly scheduled maintenance of pipeline facilities.
  • Administers all required documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Measures, monitors and records keeping is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Develops and sustains positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Interacts and communicates with Producers.
  • Keeps company vehicle, equipment and tools in good working order.
  • Responsible for keeping work area is clean and tidy.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


What You'll Bring

  • Grade 12 or secondary schooling.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in oil and gas operations required.
  • Maximo experience preferred, but not required.
  • Performs operators’ qualifications tasks per DOT/PHMSA or Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) regulations.
  • Demonstrates basic MS Office systems skills.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and meet priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with external and internal customers in a timely manner.


Working Conditions

  • Working outdoors in various temperatures/climates.
  • Possibility of overtime and/or after hours call-outs.
  • Subject to a steady scheduled workflow.
