The Role
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to originate, structure, and execute new infrastructure opportunities across U.S Pipelines. This role is primarily focused on creating new business, including sourcing deals, developing commercial relationships, as well as managing existing contracts and relationships.
What You Will Do
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our workforce by:
- Independently source and originate new pipeline opportunities across the Lower 48
- Build and maintain a strong network of producers, marketers, and industry stakeholders to generate proprietary deal flow
- Identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable commercial strategies
- Lead the development of commercial proposals, including structuring, pricing, and negotiation of long-term agreements
- Manage existing customer relationships and contracts to increase infrastructure utilization and identify incremental growth opportunities
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, contract structures, and market dynamics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, legal) to advance and close opportunities
- Respond to requests for information and resolve commercial issues with partners or customers
- Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures
- May perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in business development, commercial, or origination roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry or related infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing new business opportunities
- Strong industry network and ability to generate leads without reliance on inbound opportunities
- Self Starter - motivated to seek out new opportunities and solve problems without being directed to do so
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions
Working Conditions
- The majority of the work is performed in an office environment.
- Considerable travel will be required, as much as 50% of the time.

This terminal is a world-class liquids terminal and export facility with very large crude carrier (VLCC) capabilities and direct pipeline connections to key basins like the Permian and Eagle Ford. The acquisition strengthens Gibson's cash flow with over 95% of the revenue under take-or-pay contracts with high-quality counterparties.
