What is the Women Development Program?
For 6 consecutive years, Gibson Energy has hosted the Women Development Program that’s designed to provide a unique experience for undergraduate students to get an inside look at what it’s like to work for a publicly traded energy company, and gain exposure to the career opportunities available at Gibson! The Program offers a space to learn about various facets of our business, including the opportunity to network with other students and our senior leadership team.
What You Can Expect
1-Day Experience at Gibson's Calgary Head Office (Thursday, November 6, 2025) – 9:30am – 5:30pm

- Exclusive presentations introducing Gibson Energy and our operations
- Networking lunch with the senior leadership team and hiring managers
- Breakout information sessions and Q&A with leadership, diving deep into our Finance, Accounting and Energy Marketing business segments
- Happy hour networking to further connect with leaders and peers

Who Should Apply?
We’re seeking up to 10 outstanding post-secondary students who are:

- 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students currently enrolled in an undergraduate post-secondary degree program at an accredited institution
- Pursuing studies in Business Administration, Commerce or Economics; majoring in Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain Management
- Availability to attend the full day on November 6th

Why Participate?
Our goal of the Program is to inspire the next generation and to increase the representation of women in the industry by educating students of what’s possible; learning firsthand from our women in leadership at Gibson. Why? Because we believe that increasing representation of underrepresented groups is essential to our workforce, and the industry as a whole to continue to drive innovation, economic growth and sustainability.
As this program is an extension of our Summer Student and Co-Op Term recruitment, suitable student candidates may also be selected to interview for employment.

- September 25 to October 10: 30-min virtual interviews take place for selected candidates
- October 13 to October 17: Successful applicants will be notified of invitation to the program
